Nelson Accommodation
Built in 1900, this grand Nelson landmark is presented in a unique hotel/B&B style, featuring five smart, modern bedrooms, a new suite, and a large top-floor apartment. Guests are assured of their privacy at all times as the owners live in separate quarters on-site.

Fir – double bed, en suite bath. A charming, light room with double bed with superior pillow-top double mattress, original wood floor and en suite bath. Floor size is 140 ft/13 m2.
Spruce – queen bed, shared bathroom. Our closest concession to the historic aspect of the house, this room has a heritage feel, with dark wood floor, queen bed and adjacent shared bathroom with shower and tub (shared with Pine).
Cedar – queen bed, sofa bed, private bathroom, satellite TV. A bright, spacious queen with private bathroom (with shower). A sofa can be used for relaxation, or converted into a very comfortable bed for a third person. The room commands a great view out to the Lake and the peaks of the Selkirks in the distance.
Willow – full suite, king bed, double sofa bed, en suite bathroom. Our premium suite, with a triple-sheeted king bed using beechwood-bamboo linen, separate lounge/day room, private garden terrace, and en suite bathroom. Also has 32" full satellite TV, executive fridge, microwave and refreshment area, MP3 docking station alarm, and a large sofa which can convert into an additional double bed. Breakfast in the room is offered in this suite (exclusively) for an additional charge of $15 for two people. NOTE - Willow is NOT available December/January/February.
Aspen – queen bed, private bath. Mid-sized queen room, with garden view to the historic Uphill district, work-desk, seating area, and private bath with shower and tub. Closest to rear parking area.
Pine – twin: one queen and one double bed, shared bathroom. Pine is an airy, front-of-house room with views out towards Nelson Mountain and the Lake, with one queen and one double bed. It can accommodate up to four people, and will suit a family or travelling friends. Shares a separate bathroom off the hallway with one other room.
Tamarack Apartment – four-roomed apartment, two queen beds, double sofa bed, en suite bathroom. Taking up the entire top floor, the apartment comprises two queen bedrooms, a full kitchen, bathroom with tub and shower, and private access from our off-street parking lot. The front bedroom has excellent views out over the Lake, queen bed, sofa/double futon, satellite TV with DVD, and a large living space with 4-6 person table in the window nook. The second, separate, queen bedroom is at the quieter rear of the house. Will suit families, two couples or anyone looking to upgrade to a large home-from-home. NOTE – discounted rates without breakfast are possible for the apartment.
